Media and Communications Executive

    Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and focused individual to join the team as the Media and Communications Executive at its office in Sydney.

    SLSA is Australia’s major water safety and rescue authority and one of the largest volunteer organisations in the country. SLSA’s key intent is ‘Saving Lives in the Water’. SLSA’s members provide rescue and preventative services around Australia’s coastline, along with a range of other functions including training, development and surf sports.
     
    The Media and Communications Executive [MCE] is a communications all-rounder with strong writing and communication skills and excellent project coordination capabilities to produce publications and establish processes to enhance the reputation of Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).
     
    Reporting to the Media Manager the position works within the Viability and Reputation Team at SLSA which includes brand, marketing, online communications and partnerships.
     
    Specifically the position will support and coordinate internal communications to all stakeholders, coordinate production of major publications and support the Media Manager in day to day publicity of the organisation.
