The Modesty Barrier

One of the biggest issues I have discovered my clients have when applying for jobs is overcoming their culturally ingrained modesty. I have yet to find a country where the majority of inhabitants do not have tremendous difficulty with self-promotion. Job candidates need to break through the modesty barrier to write positive things on their resumes. Even though you may be uncomfortable with the results, your claims will still be safely within your true potential.
