In times of economic uncertainty, new hires need to be strategic and purposeful. This consultancy, based close to Melbourne\'s CBD has secured an impressive and enviable portfolio of government-funded infrastructure projects. While their br idge group is running effectively as it is, an increased project workload has warranted the hiring of an additional Senior Engineer to assist in the management of the team.
Working closely with the National Structures Manager, you will have the comprehensive responsibility for the successful delivery of large scale bridge projects being run out of the Melbourne office. These responsibilities will include the management and further development of business relationships, the coordination and mentoring a team of engineers and drafters, as well as the overall technical management and delivery of bridge projects.
Typical projects include both local and international vehicular and railway bridges, as well as the associated earth retaining structures and civil works. Project involvement includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive structural analysis, design and model development, bridge inspections, and proof engineering.

- A Bachelor of Engineering
- Extensive, technical bridge engineering experience in a consulting environment
- Both people and project management experience
- Previous experience maintaining and developing client relationships
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- The ability to coordinate and deliver multiple projects on time and to budget
- The desire to move into Senior Management
