Our client, a 4000 staff leading consultancy, is looking for its Queensland Water Manager to join their Dams & Hydropower Division. This agency is a well-established consultancy with tremendous growth plans. Since the current Manager will take on more international respons ibilities, the team in place will need a manager, who will be able to accompany the growth within the region. The successful individual will be offered excellent career paths, both nationally and internationally.

 

The position includes the following responsibilities:

- The key focus will be on Business Development within Queensland.

- Develop the strategy for the Water Division, in accordance with the company global strategy.

- Commercial overview of the Water Division projects, submission of EOIs and Proposals.

- Marketing, Financial Management, Project Management. The Regional manager will be responsible for P&L, and will make sure projects are delivered according to budget.

- Management of a small team: mentoring, follow-up on training opportunities, planning of career path, identifying  suitable evolution opportunities within the agency network. Monitoring of staff utilization and ensure that the staff is fully utilized.

- Manage the relationships with all the different regional and national regulatory bodies.

 

The successful individual will have:

- Local experience in the Hydropower Market, with a strong knowledge of its key players.

- Has a proven track record of successful experience in an Engineering consultancy, i.e has a thorough understanding of utilization targets, client liaison and maintenance of key clients relationships.

- Excellent Business Development skills, ability to win and deliver Water projects in Queensland.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, time- management skills.
