Director & Administration Assistant

    Paroo Contact Children\'s Mobile Inc. (PCCM) is a not for profit, community focused service which was originally established in 1987. The service provides educational and social enrichment opportunities to remote and isolated Outback children (between the ages of 0 -12) and their families. It is b ased in Wanaaring NSW, 2 hours west of Bourke.

     
    We are currently seeking two dedicated and energetic people to fill the following vacancies. Above award wages and a generous incentive package are being offered for each position.
     
    Director - The holder of this position will be directly responsible to the Committee of the Paroo Contact Children’s Mobile Inc. for the day to day management of the Service. They shall lead a small team in the effective and efficient delivery of programs the Service has been engaged to provide by governmental agencies and the membership, whilst working within well defined policy and procedures, and with clear delegations from the Committee of the Service.
    Essential:
    - Degree in Education (Early Childhood)
    -    Qualify as an Authorised Supervisor
    -    Drivers Licence, First Aid Certificate
    -    Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, networking skills and negotiation skills
     
    Administration Assistant (Permanent Part-Time) - The holder of this position will be directly responsible to the Director. They will be required to work effectively as part of a small team and work well unsupervised. They will be required to perform specified administrative duties to ensure a viable service is provided to suit the needs of the members of the service.
    Essential:
    -    Meet suitable requirements of Grade 5 clerical and administrative assistant as per the award
    -    Possess very strong written and verbal communication and networking skills
    -    Drivers Licence and First Aid Certificate
    -    Exceptional computer literacy skills
