This Brisbane based position involves working within a well established and highly experienced team, playing a crucial part throughout the pre-construction and construction phases. Acting as an interface between the design consultants and construction delivery team you must be decisive and diplomatic yet assertive; protecting and optimizing your employer\'s interests at all times. The projects you may be involved in include a range of new construction and refurbishment projects from $5M to $45M in value.
 
Attending client meetings
Developing Design briefs and specifications
Selecting and managing Design related consultants
\"Buildability\" reviews
Interfacing and liaising with the construction delivery teams
Rapidly coordinating the rectification of any issues
 
To be considered suitable for these roles you must be a fully qualified Architect whose more recent experience has been Design Management directly for a contractor on substantial projects. Personally you must be presentable, articulate and lateral thinking with strong interpersonal and people management skills. A package of around $155,000 is on offer to the right candidate.
