The Residential Youth Case Worker role is both exciting and challenging within our Support Services programs and offer s applicants a wide range of opportunities to work with and support young people who are homeless.
 
As a Residential Youth Case Worker, your responsibilities include provision of safe and secure short term accommodation, information, options and appropriate individual support to homeless young people and by assisting and advocating on their behalf, help them obtain suitable and secure long term housing. You will be working to encourage and facilitate young people to set and meet objectives in participate in education, employment and training.
 
The successful applicant will be passionate about working with young people, have strong client assessment and engagement skills, be competent in the principles of case management, together with advocacy, communication and research skills with demonstrated ability and experience of working in a team and independently.
 
Salary offered is in line with the SACS Award, a generous salary packaging option is available.
