About the Organisation

The Victoria Daly Shire Council became an entity on the 1st July 2008 through the amalgamation of 8 Northern Territory community councils covering an area of 168,000sqkm an area, approximately twice the s ize of Tasmania. Council\'s aim is to strengthen its communities with local people delivering shire services to their own communities with the skills and knowledge of their own culture, community and people.

Victoria Daly Shire is almost two years old as an organisation, so Council currently recruiting people who share their vision to help develop the brand new organisation.

About the Opportunity

Victoria Daly Shire Council has an exciting opportunity for a Community Services Team Leader to  join their team in Daguragu.

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the day to day operations of Aged Care, Family Care and Centrelink services within the community. 

You will work in a welcoming, supportive and close-knit environment. Enjoy plenty of variety in this role, as you work closely with a dedicated group in a range of areas including shire services, civil services, community, housing and customer service.

The Community Services Team Leader will be rewarded with a competitive salary starting at $56,720 + 9% superannuation.

Additionally, your accommodation will be fully covered. You will also be eligible to receive relocation assistance up to $5,000!
